About me

I'm a contemporary visual artist specialising in painting, photography and assemblage.

Having always loved art and painting, its only been the last few years that I have immersed myself fully into the art world. With any passion, the more you indulge yourself, the more you love it. I try to go to as many exhibitions as I can as I believe it really enhances an artist's knowledge of contemporary and modern art, whilst acknowledging the works by lesser known artists who can truly help you to improve and develop your technique.

You may not always have the time to visit as many exhibitions as I can, or you do but just can't go to them all. Hopefully my blog will give you plenty of images to 'feed' your artistic appetite.

"The landscape is one big puzzle. Using my intuition of going beyond everyday reality, I play with abstracted narratives that look for irregularities in the patterns, forms and design of the landscape. Robust elements that suggest uniqueness and encourage a change of perspective. The landscape around us continually shapes us as human beings and my response for abstraction is an attempt to embrace this. By transforming the way in which we interact and view the ‘norm’ around us we are able to perceive ourselves differently."
