Supporting street art projects on Kickstarter

Over the past couple of years I've supported the odd inspiring project here and there... quite unpredictable ones from new book launches on eclectic, old people wandering the streets, a Steampunk singer launching her album in San Francisco to mining asteroids in space (yes very haphazard choices!).

So I'm loving the prospect of supporting my fave cause of painting and especially street art. Today, after perusing a new blog I really love called 'Inspiring City' http://inspiringcity.com about random wanderings around London finding new street art and artists. I came across a fab project by Femme Fierce, a group of female street artists wanting to put on another festival this year. After backing this amazing event to-be, I came across another street art initiative taking place in my home-city of Manchester called 'Spear Street ARTches - urban art in the Northern Quarter where they plan on commissioning street artist 'Hammo' to create robot murals in old brick window spaces.

Why not visit their Kickstarter pages and go support these great projects!

Help us create the largest gathering of female street artists painting together at the Banksy Tunnel in Waterloo, London.

Spear Street ART-ches

We will convert disused window space on Spear Street into a Public Art gallery, with a new artist
painting every 6 months, Northern Quarter in Manchester.
