Little ditties of the Finnish countryside

You wouldn't believe some of the weird and wonderful things I came across in Finland. From secondhand bargain shops called "Kirpi's", big-breasted postcard filled walls in the local pub to random recycled metal and plastic sculptures dotted around someone's outside space. Of course, these sights are still not to be seen as often as the hundreds and thousands of trees, lakes and wooden houses that dominate each and every Finnish skyline.

As a result of this clearly kooky landscape and expansive environment I went on to create a set of quirky watercolour drawings that I think clearly demonstrate a period of going slightly bonkers! See if you can spot Woody the Woodpecker too...
